September feather (View on black if you have the time or inclination)
Thought of all sorts of 'same subjects' for the Same-September challenge, but realised I had to make a decision and get on with it - I have been very taken with shots of feathers recently and remembered a lovely ?ostrich feather/pretend pen which has been sitting in a jug for years. Later than I planned, here is a shot of the 'fluffy end' against my kitchen hob. That doesn't sound too interesting, does it? How about this... I chanced upon a mystical ice cavern today and took a shot.................?
Oh dear.. I seem to be perpetually a day behind. Better take 2 tomorrow and catch up!
This week is proving as hard as I thought it might be - not only was it my first full day back, but then I collected Cathy from her new school, got caught in traffic and it was a 90 minute 'round trip. I certainly hope it doesn't happen every day. Coming home to your kind comments is a real tonic, thank you x :)
Sounds like you have a busy time. Don't forget to unwind though, the best way being with your camera of course ;o) Lovely fluffy shot of this feather. I look forward to next week's to see what you do with it xx
