Couldn't even begin to think of anything to do with birthdays today... such a long busy old day I feel just like these steps..! Took the photo in Norwich last weekend along with a couple of others I thought might come in handy. The feet at the top belong to George, patiently waiting for me. The castle museum is at the top of the steps which certainly weren't 21st century, and they were well wonky (again, like me!)

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on my shots over the weekend! The macro £50 was quite a revelation - I had no idea it was full of so much detail until I saw it under the lens! Our little remembrance service had little grandeur and lots of quiet dignity and humility, it seemed wrong to get the camera out during it but when I saw the grass flattened by the villagers I thought it was proof that we had been there to do our duty.
