One of the odder things I have taken a photo of... a line of saccharin sweeteners on a white piece of paper. Guess it was a good exercise in high exposure and focus...?! For World Braille day - having had treatment on my eyes and being part of a study group over the last couple of years I am very aware of eyesight and can't imagine a life without it. God bless those for whom this is a lifeline..
#I should add by the way, that I always have sugar... these were kept for any visitors but I see the use-by date was 2005 so they have now gone in the bin!!
Gosh thank you so much for all your kind comments on my reflected lights yesterday... it was such a pretty sight, and the room seems tidy but so bare today. Only about 354 days 'til next Christmas...! Have a great weekend
That must have been hard to get the exposure right! I like the sentiment behind the shot. Sight is definitely something too many of us take for granted - very though provoking.
Very creative, Phil! If my eyes continue down the path they're on, I may be needing to learn braille. I can't imagine being without sight because then I wouldn't be able to capture the beauty of the world with my camera anymore. It's a scary thought. This is a great photo. I like the white on white. That's hard to capture but you pulled it off brilliantly! Well done! :)
