The Snowy Hub of the Village by filsie65

The Snowy Hub of the Village

Anyone with a memory for tedious scenes may remember this scene, in the village 'near me' from the 'Same September' challenge... except of course then it was green and leafy rather than barren and snowy! I took the shot with the flash by mistake... chuckled at the result!
Thank you everyone who called by to view my Mr Blue Sky yesterday... whilst I miss the prettiness of the snow and prefer it slightly to the storm rains battering my house right now, I must say the sunshine gets my vote every time! I appreciate every one of your kind comments :)

BTW the moon's on the other side... http://365project.org/filsie65/just-stuff
Still pretty- even with the falling snow- which by the way is also in one of my shots today!

Great shot Phil, I have seen a few of these shots of your village now, could you tag them all the same, to get a comparison?
Something like Northill_Phil?

@gphelps5 Your footpath looks great.. if it wasn't for the treeline behind you might think it's a different place each time. Darn.. I thought I had lined the 'village hub' view up quite well, but I can see the postbox keeps moving...! :)

@psychographer I B&W'd it but in all honesty it was pretty much like this... the only colour came from the cars, to keep it calm-looking I went B&W and selectively coloured-back-in the postbox.

What a coincidence I used to live in Biggleswade when I was a kid & my best friend at the time lived in Northill, I used to cycle here a lot when I was young, lovely shot brings back a whole lot of memories :)
