Sorry - Got back too late last night (after driving through fog) from Norwich and it was too light to do this shot earlier today.
My offering, gentle and forgiving 365ers, for the letter S and 'light and dark' challenge with a flash of red is this rather Squirly S, taken with a 2-second-long exposure and a careful wiggle over a nightlight, then selectively coloured B&W. Learnt how to do this on my new camera yesterday with the help of my photographer friend and although I couldn't get it to focus on Cathy in the dark (and thereby get a shot of her waving a candle about) I could at least get it to focus on the white table. Hope that makes sense.....

Superb shot! Now.... how did you get the "S"??? I haven't been able to even do a letter light shot yet! I can come up with other stuff but not letters. Well done, Phil!
