They have been ploughing this field over the last couple of days.. every time I passed I couldn't stop. Tonight I managed to catch it after picking up a disconsolate George from school... it was the end of term and we were both totally bushed but he didn't mind me stopping at the side of the road (even when a kindly friend stopped to check we were ok!) I had to zoom to the end of the field but reflected that everything comes in time - even Easter holidays and perhaps even spring (yes that's a glimmer of sunshine!)
Thank you so much for your kind messages of appreciation on my painted tulip shot yesterday... it was indeed a colour shot that I selectively turned B&W in Picmonkey. Oh, and I dipped the paintbrush into mashed potato beforehand so that I would have a good base colour to tint a matching yellow! I'm glad you liked it.
To everyone who celebrates it or just enjoys the long holiday weekend I wish a very happy Easter.
Feeling totally drained tonight, I will look forward to catching up with all your shots very soon. mwah!
Oh yes I like this! I missed a similar shot myself recently, although now due to all the snow the farmer has lost his crop so maybe I will get anothe chance
Great shot. This one would probably make a great stock photo for magazines / websites wrinting about country living or farming. It's almost a classic view. It would have been interesting to see it with a bit more "space" in front of the tractor. I almost forgot to say, the colours are great too... earthy brown in the bottom, springy green at the top and a big red tractor in the middle ;-)
