Drip drip drop by filsie65

Drip drip drop

Well there had been a little drip (into a plastic container) for a while now, but today it turned into a very fast little drip and so I did what anyone would do... I added some blue colouring and took some photos (cropped but otherwise sooc). Then I called a plumber! He's not coming 'til tomorrow so we've rigged up a funnel and hose to the sink.. and still have the chance of some crown shots!!!
So very touched by your sweet comments yesterday... I really hesitated about putting any of it down, but am so glad I did, together you made me feel so much better about all the emotions that were churning around. This project has enriched areas I could never have imagined. Thank you all so much xx

That would have been my first thought as well,Phil...I'm sure :-). Great shot and superb use of a opportunity.

LOL! The photographer in you comes out before the fixer! Too funny! Nice shot, though! I have given up trying to get water drop shots and the like. I watched a video how to do it and it's too much for me. Love the color of the water, too! Nice job, Phil! :)

You are just a crazy lady, who would have thought to use a 'problem' as the solution to the daily capture? Phil will !!

Perfect little droplet in a sea of blue

@prttblues I just lent my camera on the side of the bowl, pointed it at the drips and shot on continuous - Good light is a must and I didn't have any so used the flash which 'freezes' it anyway - but I had to stop and recharge the battery as it wasn't on full blast and seems too many flashes made it slow up. Water play is such fun,.....! (Not sure the plumbers bill will be though...!)

Well, you caught that one perfectly. I've been trying this in my sink but so far I've only managed to get my lens wet ;-)
