TGIF

It's been one of those weeks...!
Can't explain how chuffed I am every time I see someone has called by for a closer look at one of my shots - you are all lovely, I thank you sincerely for every view and comment. Have a marvellous weekend :)
Nice use of Photoshop - you even managed to remove the workman! It also, sadly, sums up a lot of UK summers

Nice selective colouring Phil! Have a great weekend yourself :)

nice photo Phil

Nice pop of colour in there.

An interesting choice of subject for a colour/black and white combination (looks like central Bedfordshire, where I live, only it can't be because it's not raining...)
June 14th, 2013
Great shot, I like the processing, Did you use photoshop or lightroom?
June 14th, 2013
Cool selective colour! I like how you made the most of a dull moment!
June 15th, 2013
Great focus on the bright things. Road works are a pain when you're trying to get somewhere 8-)
June 15th, 2013
Great selective color!

That's wonderful! I love the SC. Glad you were stopped when you took it ;o)
June 15th, 2013
Great use of SC! Have a great weekend too!
June 15th, 2013
I am so used to mono photos that I really didn't notice all the work you had put into it until I read about it. Great job!!!!
June 15th, 2013
@pistonbroke Hi Pete! Yes, it's central Beds in a rare moment when it isn't raining. The main road between Shefford and Upper Caldecote, to be precise.
June 15th, 2013
@bizziebeeme Hi Lou! I used Ribbet - turned the shot B&W then painted back in the colour. Haven't ventured into PS or LR yet...!
June 15th, 2013
@filsie65 lol, those very traffic lights made me late for my optitians appt yesterday (in Shefford) you've made them look so pretty!
June 15th, 2013
Have a great weekend, love this great processing
June 15th, 2013
Great processing. The colour really pops against the greyness of the day
June 15th, 2013
@greenpixielu I liked the curve of the cones and thought that B&Wing everything else would make them the feature of the shot seeing as they were so central to the problem even though I've cursed them daily for weeks now on the school run...!! I think they are closing the road completely on Monday?! AAArgh!
June 15th, 2013
Great shot and selective colouring. Not far from me.
June 15th, 2013
neat processing

Nice capture and processing!
June 15th, 2013
Glad the week has passed for you. Next week will definitely be better!
June 15th, 2013
Super selective coloring.
June 15th, 2013
Oh I know this well, we have a landslip near us and the diversions are awful! Nicely done with the red light
June 15th, 2013
@filsie65 Thank you, I'll look at ribbit as I love this shot. Becky my eldest tells me not to touch PS as I will get frustrated and I think she knows I'll be pestering her. She has shown me links on youtube for LR and the other day she finished a shot of for me as I was taking to long and also I think my slowness was a little irritating to her. ( only as bad as me watching her at a sewing machine :D)
June 15th, 2013
@bizziebeeme Ribbet is almost the same as Picmonkey, just a slightly different arrangement and some different features. I like it as you can use all the elements for free off 365. If you make a shot B&W you can click on the paintbrush and paint back in the original colour. I haven't tried PS or lightroom .. yet....!

Nice shot, Phil! :) Love the black and white with selective color! I still haven't been able to pull that off! Good job! :)
June 16th, 2013
Great use of SC Phil - Way to make the most of a delay!
June 17th, 2013
