Two's Company... and so it seems with these little guys. We had adopted an 'abandoned' guinea-pig who seemed ok but everyone told us that they like company. Naturally when my friend hears of another male, abandoned guinea-pig, she thinks of me. Both GPs were part of groups, but when the others died the owners lost interest, so sad. So here's a diary shot to complete June, the wonderful moment when I realised that the two little chaps were happy and comfortable together.
June really was a busy month - all the usual stuff, plus short-staffed=overtime at work, plus a charity fundraiser locally. Our little village hall was closed down last year, needing a new roof which cost £48,000. They managed to get it sorted but still needed £4,500 to repay loans so I offered to organise a 'big village quiz' to help. It went very well and raised just over £900 in total which was more than I'd hoped! With added donations the debt is now repaid which is fab for a little village like ours. I'm now looking forward to the end of term and the chance to put my feet up & get out my camera properly at the end of July....! Thank you for calling by to see my little offerings & read my witterings! :)
Awww... what a sweet shot. I'm so glad that he has a new friend. Friends are important, no matter what species.... You have had quite the month! Congrats on your successful fund raiser! I'm so glad that it was fully repaid. You are always on the go. And a single mom too.... You deserve a zillion kudos. Great shot, Phil! :)
