It's why the lakes are full of water

On the way up to Scotland we crossed from East to West on the A66 and got to Penrith so naturally felt the need to venture into and stretch our legs in the Lake District. It tiddled it down all the time we were there and the only speck of colour was the red squirrel spotted on a wall when I was driving. Got this shot across Ullswater with lots of raindrops and 2 splashes from where George was skimming stones. Cathy sensibly stayed in the car. I love B&W but this was just dull, so gave it a touch of cross-processing which I thought made it a little more interesting.
Feeling a bit of pressure now... tomorrow (Wednesday) is my day 731... and I am still catching up from the Scotland holiday. Don't want to flood your feeds so am popping in photos through the day.. guess whether I flood your feed will depend more on how many folk you follow...? Apologies for anyone who is getting tetchy with me, and thanks to everyone who calls by mwah mwah!
Great pic!!!

Lovely reflective capture, rain certainly dampens the photo-ops.
