Did a lunch duty interrupted by a downpour today - then walked home through bright sunshine so was delighted to bend down and get this shot of some of the chestnut leaves in the sunlight with some of the church's graves behind near the old wall. I'll check how old they are tomorrow if you like... :)
Your views and comments are the oil that keep this site running - thank you. If I haven't visited your shots soon I apologise, half term break is on the near horizon and as well as sleeping and entertaining the kids I plan to catch up with you :)
Hmm a bit of a contrast here, bright and colourful yet slightly morbid, the graves mixed with the decaying leaves. Still, an interesting shot, and very seasonal.
Nice shot, Phil! I love the perspective / point of view / angle that you shot this from. Excellent detail and focus. Sorry I have taken so long to comment!! I have been dealing with some health issues so it is up and down for me and I comment when I can for how long I can... I am always having to play catch up it seems! I hope that you haven't forgotten about me! Anyway, very nice job on this shot! Love it!
Half term is almost here!!
