Freddie Pheasant

So many gaps... where have the days gone this week?
I am told that this chap has worked out that it is hunting season and has moved into the locality. He seems to have decided that my cats are less danger than the hunters with guns. Lets hope he's right. I shall enjoy having him nearby. He was perched on my neighbour's roof long enough for me to get out the zoom lens and shoot him my own way!
I was sparkling inside with the unearned-praise for my sparkler shot - thank you so much :)
Fantastic shot of your handsome visitor! I hope he manages to stay safe so we see a lot more of him :)

This is superb Phil. Great capture of the feather detail and the colours set off beautifully with the white background xx
