Smile for the Camera!

Oops, a gap - allow me to fill it with a diplodocus! (Now that's not something you say every day) And not just any dinosaur - Dippy the famous Diplodocus in the grand entrance of London's beautiful Natural History Museum - a unique and beautiful building built as you might guess during the reign of Queen Victoria. Lucky me... two of my favourite, beautiful buildings visited in one day.

Delighted with all your views and comments, thank you so much.
Love the patterns, colours and lines :)

Fantastic and captivating capture, love that strange object in the centre and the symmetrical structure of the walls and ceiling.

@tonydebont "Strange object"?! It's a full-size dinosaur (cast)-skeleton! Looking down on me in an almost friendly manner, but I've seen 'Night at the Museum' and wasn't taking any chances!
Have a look at http://www.nhm.ac.uk/visit-us/galleries/green-zone/central-hall/index.html if you'd like to see him a little better :)

Great shot, Phil! Of both the dinosaur and the interior of the building. It looks like a beautiful building. Well done :)
