Ok, I know what you're thinking. he isn't exactly a duck. However Freddy is a wildfowl, he has feathers, and he ducked as I approached, presumably to appear less visible. Tenuous I know, but if I'm going to do the fun-in-feb and f-in-feb and B&W too I need a little flexibility... like what Freddy Pheasant has.
Did all sorts to this, including adding a touch of infrared to bring out the detail in his feathers, but the most shocking was stripping the colour. I'll put it back (but not with a paintbrush).
Which leads me to thank you for your kind comments on my freesias with and without colour - you are too kind but I am extremely grateful :)
Feeling fairly flexible but finding it a little far fetched to believe f is for duck. Maybe I should just stop foraging around for f words and admit its a pretty good flamin' b&w.
