Sandy Man by filsie65

Sandy Man

This little town, nearby, isn't much to speak of, but it has a barbers that George likes. I was waiting for him there today and noticed this building, thinking it was very ornate and how sad that it was getting shabby as it must have been quite a place in its day. What luck that a chap in a bright top cycled past when there was no traffic as I was lining up a shot! (The town is called Sandy, by the way, after the sandy hills / quarry nearby).
Been chuffed to bits with views/comments this week - why I think I will have more time in the holidays I know not! Thank you for bearing with me :)
Great use of selective colour.

The yellow jacket highlights this shot of that handsome building.

Selective colouring is always a risky business I think, a bit like juggling eggs, it can work, but its so easy to get it wrong. This one works really well though, you've done a great job!

Yellow works really well here & unusual that it's usually red that most 365ers pick so this is a great change.
