I have quite a lot of news to catch up with but for now thought I'd share this with you...
This is Airlander 10, the world's longest aircraft, which was made and is kept near me at Cardington where airships (blimps) like the R101 were built and housed. It flew right over my house - at first I thought the sound was a slow helicopter - and gave me a lovely view. It's known locally as the flying bottom..!
(Here's a link to the BBC report about it in case you'd like to know more http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-40272708)
Not the most exciting of shots but it made me grab my camera and for that I'm grateful :)
Thank you for calling in - hope you're keeping well :)
A wonderful capture. It is not every day that you get the see something like this flying over your house. I'm glad you were able to get your camera in time to take the photo.
Well, it has certainly been a long time since I've enjoyed one of your lovely comments! So I'm glad you're here again! What a knick-name! But I can see where it comes from! Great shot!
