I was on a school trip to the roman museum of Verulamium in St Albans, Hertfordshire. It was full of all sorts of fascinating artefacts which the children pored over then I turned the corner and saw this... needed to get my camera out even though I was technically working and didn't really have 5 seconds! It was huge and just beautiful.
Here's a link to what it looked like when they found it.. http://www.stalbans.gov.uk/Images/verulamium%20park%20shell%20mosaic_tcm15-7810.jpg
