This is one of the more complicated timepieces, in the Milton Keynes shopping centre and by some escalators. I haven't quite figured it out yet. On the right, a huge ballbearing drops between the racks that shimmy to let it go and then it appears in the 'window' near the bottom. In the meantime the red wheel runs to and from the other end of the track, picking up a new ballbearing which goes up the turquoise shoot when it gets back. The frog on the top opens and closes his mouth. All makes sense to someone ... one of these days I'll stand there long enough to work it out.
