The moon was just sinking behind the trees .... hadn't seen the moon for about a month so got the camera quick... took this standing on a chair in my nightie, holding the camera against an open-top window and trying my hardest to hold it still! (Camera is set to BST by the way, it was about 7.20am)

Was just looking at your exif. I took a moon shot the other night my branches were more in focus than this, and the moon blurry. Will try again another night. This is nice.
This is lovely Phil, I tried the moon last night but just couldnt get it right. I think I need a tripod for a start! Gimme a daytime moon and I can nail it, but when the sky is dark Ive no hope. Well done, love the branches cradling the moon too.
Wonderful morning moon! Beautifully framed with those branches. I missed it - concentrating too much on 'doing the hens' and getting back in for my coffee!!
@cfitzgerald Oh Courtney I'm so sorry - there are no words. Right now there's a stranger across the Atlantic sitting tearfully at her computer for the awful loss you and your lovely children have suffered. You certainly are in my prayers and thoughts - yours was about the first project I saw, read and chuckled at... thinking 'this girl is great, I'll follow 'her' ' and I always knew I was right. That spirit will keep you strong through the coming months and years... keep well sweetheart, give the kids a hug from me and I know they will give you one back from me xx
