Spotted these from a boat as we passed along the Seine... We had walked along Pont Neuf and gazed over the bridge little knowing that these, and countless other funny faces were on the stonework just below the lip! Being the oldest bridge in Paris you wonder who carved them and if they really deterred unwelcome visitors!
