This shot of the water and the dam wall at the reservoir appealed to me today, autism awareness day. Working in a school naturally I find autism across a wide range of the spectrum. Sometimes the children only stick to a straight line and need the possibility of the curve pointed out... we all get on fine with a little understanding that we're all different and that's ok.
The clouds had come in before I took this but with a bit of processing I managed to make it a bit bluer than grey today. Another miracle!
Alternative shot on album #1 which was taken today in really blue skies! http://365project.org/filsie65/365/2013-04-02
Huge thanks to anyone who calls by for a closer look at my little offerings - you're marvellous!
What a lovely shot. I love how the clouds are reflecting on the surface. The curve is a perfect one. I know someone with an autistic son who when he was 11 he was reading college senior science books. He was high functioning, but still needed some special education to help him along. She moved to Texas and haven't spoken to her since. Long time now. Anyway, sorry I got off track from your pic. This is a super shot. Love the colors and the different shades of blue really give it oomph. Great job, Phil :)
Firstly; this one has to be viewed large to really appreciate what a wonderful shot this is. It's one I can sit and look at and feel myself relax and calm down.
The light and the patterns on the surface of the water are beautiful. The curve with the bands of earthy tones creates a strong composition and ties together the water and the sky.
