Well it had to be done...! The offspring kindly bought me a beautiful iridescent decanter and two tumblers for mothers' day. One of the tumblers was chipped so we were told we could keep it and another set would be sent out. So I now have 2 iridescent decanters, three iridescent tumblers to put to good use and one within my coloured glass collection. Here is a 'selfie' of myself and George's girlfriend, Sarah, testing them out. Quite satisfactory and I can confirm they have been put to good use most evenings since.... hic....!
(I should add, for those of you who got to know me in previous years, that George and his girlfriend moved in with me last summer while saving up for future projects... obviously we are all hibernating together at the moment. Cathy is up in Lancaster Uni, we video chat most days and I know she is OK and in good company with her chap in what has become a ghost campus...)

That’s the spirit Phil.....the best way to hibernate...plenty of fun & the odd G&T! We have to be kind to ourselves! I think you did quite well with the chipped tumbler!
