Instead of firing arrows through this arrow slit in York city walls, I thought I'd shoot the daffodils, with my camera. This year's display hasn't been too good, but these later daffodils along the north-east side of the walls are now quite attractive.
Oh wow, here is the promised shot of the daffodils along the wall. very nice and so many..love the view through the little slit where we can see part of the wall as well.
I just love that title and the shot (i.e. photo) is fabulous! I wonder if it was their intention, when planting, to make such a great photo for the future! Fav
@bruni@gillg@thresheg@padlock@witchyjacq Thank you. It was nice to try a different viewpoint, especially as I cannot always see over the wall to get a shot! Katharine
@dolphin@bobhuegel Thank you. I thought this was ideal. I often look through the arrow slits at the view as I cannot always see over the wall! katharine
@rhos Thank you Ann. The daffodils can't afford to be camera shy. I'm not sure about their origins other than some were planted by school children in the 1960' and 1970's. I have found that you can add to the display by donation. Thank you for the fav,( hope you dont mind me mentioning it but it looks like you didn't hit the fav button). Katharine
Sorry, Katherine - it's sorted now!
