Well, what a few days it's been. Yesterday I found out I got a 2:1 in my degree, so it was a very happy day! On Tuesday I had an interview for a job in Paris, and the two of us that applied have both been given a job so in September I'll be moving to France! It is funny because I bought a new charm for my charm bracelet quite a while ago which was the Eiffel Tower (seen in this pic), and now I'll get to see the real thing in person. So it'll be bye to England for a year and hello to France. Lots to do between now and then though! - Lucy
congratulations, Lucy! I have a cousin who lives in France-he loves it. love the shot-I hope you will have time to continue with this project. Would love to see France from a Fisher's perspective!
Wow Lucy, what wonderful achievements. Very well done on your 2.1, and congratulations on your new job - both real successes. Will look forward to seeing shots from the other side of the Channel!
@tonydebont Thanks Tony. It feels like a big commitment but I've lived abroad before and I'll manage it again, this time knowing I'm doing something I really want to do which will advance me professionally and linguistically. Once the first few weeks are over, it'll be great! - Lucy
@kjarn Haha, in the British system, the best degree grade is a First (I), the next is a 2:1 (II:i), then a 2:2 (II:ii), then the lowest is a Third (III) :) Thank you for the well wishes! - Lucy
