On my first evening with Louise and family, Oliver read a Puddle Lane story. A little black cat called Tim ate some of the magician's green sugar mice and turns green in the story. Oliver thought it would be fun if we made some sugar mice and wondered if we would turn green when we ate them. We made the sugar mice but we didn't manage the extra magic and non of us turned green (only had a sugar rush)!
Lovely and funny tale. Cute and lovely pic.`s of the boy , greatly combined in a nice collage.
Katherine , Many thanks for the fav. You spoil me with it .
Oh how I miss my little ones (all grown up by now - we had so much fun -) It looks almost like Oliver is holding a real mouse by it's head. loved your story and outcome..at least you guys didn't turn green.
@bruni I'm making the most of it while I can with the grandchildren. We bought the books mentioned for Louise when she was learning to read and this was one of her favourite stories. Katharine
@dolphin We did have a great time. I love these little activities where although we are making things, all sorts of conversation takes place. Katharine
@dougk Thank you. We enjoyed our time making them. The trouble is eating them makes the children a little hyper-active (pity it didn't have that effect on the adults!) Katharine
