Working in the arrondissement

There's so much banging and clattering going on at the moment, and there's no wonder! The whole district I live in seems to be having a face-lift, as the economic crisis has forced many long-standing shop keepers and café owners to close. But there's a hint of better times ahead, as for each closure there seems to be something new springing up in its place. Here we see a man taking down an old shop sign.... I wonder what it's going to turn into! - Lucy

Hi Lucy - I like this very much: with the old-fashioned shop-front and the B&W treatment, this shot could have been taken in the 1950's.
