Just over a week ago Katharine posted a shot of the view outside Sheffield railway station entrance ( http://365project.org/fishers/365/2014-01-24), and in that view was a long mural on the boards around a building sight.
This weekend I had the opportunity to get some close-up shots of parts of it, so here are three of them in the form of a collage.
The background in each shot is what you would see if there was a mirror there rather than boarding - the railway station, the blade sculpture and The Howard pub.
Superimposed on this are a variety of images of people, including a cartoon character in the top shot!
Sadly, the mural is rather battered in places, and the colours are rather faded, but I feel that it still forms a fascinating element of the street scene.
Thank you Ferry, and thank you for the fav! Such a shame that the mural is becoming rather faded and battered. I wish I'd got the photos when it was new.
Thanks also for you so nice comment on my blue/black pic..
Thank you Gill, it was a fascinating piece of work!

Thank you Pete - just a shame that the mural is a bit faded and worse for wear.

Thank you Bob, it's an interesting mural, and each time I look at the shots of it I see more amusing characters in there!

Thank you Molly - they are one of the first things you see when you are walking from the railway station to the bus station.
