Solitary Flower by fishers

Solitary Flower

A walk in the Homestead Park can always be relied on to lift the spirits and provide photo opportunities. A large green bush with a solitary flower caught my eye. This lovely flower, I think it may be a Camelia, was ahead of its siblings by being in full flower while they were in bud.

Well spotted Katherine - our Camelia has been heavy with bud for the past two weeks, but no action yet. Perhap's this one you spotted is a good sign!
