So which way now? by fishers

So which way now?

Another shot from my walk in the Yorkshire Wolds on Thursday.

Most of the footpaths on the Wolds are well waymarked making navigation relatively simple, but there are occasional places not clearly marked. This shot was taken where we were having a little difficulty finding our way.

We were walking along a track looking for a right turn towards the valley in the distance. We paused to look along this break through the crops, thinking it might be the path we were looking for, but there was no evidence of boot prints, so we carried on past this turn, and found the
correct path nearby, hidden behind a low hedge.
