So, I've been away for a few days in an internet free zone (my mum's house), which is why I haven't posted for the last two days. I had a rather complicated journey back to York, to ensure I managed to see the Tour de Yorkshire.
I caught up with it on the eastern approach to Pontefract, in West Yorkshire. Here, we see the leading group of six riders with quite a big lead over the main bunch.
Once again, an event with a great atmosphere and lots of effort to decorate houses, gardens, walls and trees along the route - and amazing large crowds to see the riders pass.
Thank you all for your thoughts and favs - I had a thoroughly enjoyable time, although it was a long and tiring journey by bus back from Pontefract to York.
