The area along the banks of the River Aire in Leeds has changed considerably in recent years, with many of the old warehouse buildings being either renovated and converted into apartments, or demolished and new apartment or office blocks built.
This shot was taken from Leeds Bridge, looking east-north-east towards Leeds Minster, with two blocks of apartments in the view.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated, and they put this shot on the Popular Page.
It is nice to see old buildings given a new purpose, and the riverside regeneration in Leeds is extensive and impressive. It extends not only along the River Aire, but also along the banks of the Leeds / Liverpool canal.
Thank you Vesna. I didn't get too many photos in Leeds on this visit since the sun was so harsh and the shadows so dark, bur I did like this riverside view..
