Or at least that is what my online plant identifier thinks it might be, so if anyone can confirm what it is, I would be interested to know.
The pasque flower is a beautiful spring flower, traditionally a sign that Easter has arrived. The silky buds open to light purple, cup-shaped flowers which mature to develop a star shape. As the flowers develop, ferny foliage starts to appear at the base of the stems, which continues to look good after the flowering season has finished. As you can see, this is at the latter stage, well after the flowers have gone.
Taken ten days ago on a walk around the Homestead Park. I've taken very few photos this weekend, except those of our daughter Lucy and her family, and I find it hard to be objective about those, which makes chosing a photo to post quite hard.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
The link that Ferry (@pyrrhula) sent does support the idea that these are the pasque flower. Hopefully I will be able to go to the Homestead Park to get more photos of other parts of the plant.

So delicate and lovely soft green shades, a joy to look at, fav.
