The scarecrow festival last weekend at Thornton Dale had around 40 scarecrows on display, and we had an interesting time trying to find as many as we could. I think we managed a photo of each one between us.
I rather liked this scarecrow of Spiderman climbing up the wall in the walled garden car park.
By chance we had seen another scarecrow festival while on the Moorsbus - we were given a good view of the scarecrows in Old Malton as the bus headed from Malton towards Pickering.
Well spotted. I have never seen Spiderman climbing a wall and not facing the wall. He should be warned it's dangerous to do that, haha. Lovely capture of him. Hope to see more.
Thank you all for your lovely comments, they are very much appreciated.
It is interesting how popular scarecrow festivals have become over the last 30 years, being held now in a wide variety of places. A huge amount of creativity is shown with their creation, and they are lots of fun to discover.
I often have more. This one I try to keep as the leaves has nice colors to.
