The Homestead Park staff have for a number of years produced a special display in the formal gardens during the summer. Previous themes have included Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bees, Wallace and Gromit, and Winnie the Pooh, amongst others. They have proved popular with adults and children, so It's always interesting to see what their latest idea is.
I had heard nothing about a display for this year, so it was a pleasant surprise to find that three wicker dinosaurs have appeared. I don't know if there are more to appear, or if an information board will appear as in previous years. At the moment I don't know what type of dinosaur this is, so hopefully they will provide an information board! I will be keeping an eye out for developments.

As always when I've seen these sculpture displays at the Homestead Park, I'm amazed how much realism and character is captured in these woven works of art. They are a very popular thing for people to see when visiting the park.
