Leaf Waterfall by fishers

Leaf Waterfall

Still in the Homestead Park, York, this time earlier this week, and I found this waterfall effect created with leaves that have fallen from surrounding trees.

This is part of a linear rockery beside the small stream which feeds into the pond. There was once a small waterfall somewhere along this rockery as water flowed between the stones. I don't know if this is the location, but it certainly looks as if it could be.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.

The same viewpoint today looks quite different, with a stronger wind having cleared away the leaves between the rocks. Looks like I was just in time for this shot!
