Katharine and I has a trip into York city centre on Monday afternoon to visit York Minster, which has been holding a Christmas Tree Festival. After a good look round, we visited several shops before heading for our bus home.
We were rather early for the bus, so we had a walk in the Museum Gardens. The temperature was beginning to fall quite quickly, and we found these leaves that had water drops on them earlier that were quickly freezing. To me this is a very unusual sight, so I thought we would share it with you.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
Although most of the water drops on these leaves are clearly frozen, there are a few on the left hand side that might still be liquid. The effect on freezing on water can produce some interesting and unusual effects. The trouble is that finding them can make me feel rather too cold for comfort!

Thank you both, it's always interesting to see the effects of ice!
