Artist in Residence

I really liked this rather light hearted window painting, which is something of a contrast with the more heritage inspired paintings that we saw around Knaresborough last Thursday. It is one of a pair. The window above shows the artist having a well earned rest after completing her painting.

In this lower window the artist has put herself working precariously on site with the painting almost complete.

The artist who produced this artwork was Julie Cope.

Too dangerous. Someone can just take an example and do it. None the less: a beautiful mural.

Very realistic and so well done. Funny, but I noticed a similar themed painting in an art cafe I was at on Wednesday

Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.

This was actually one of a pair of painted windows, the one immediately above this one showing the artist relaxing after her work was complete.

Thank you both. There was another painting of the artist at rest, but sadly that one has become rather worn.
