Well done Mr Reagan too. In 1987 he advised Gorbachev to pull down the Berlin wall. Two years later the wall was dismantled. The above plaque was on the pavement outside the Brandenburg Gate. The pictures below are of young men who attempted unsuccessfully to cross over the wall.
