You can’t tell from this photo but Lincoln Cathedral looms majestically above the town in a fairytale like way. When we left by train it looked truly magnificent and as we approached Ely 100 minutes later we saw Ely Cathedral in all its beauty across the Fens. It increases in size as the train approaches and peers down at you as you enter the old fashioned country station. Pure magic!
