Autumn Pleasures

A beautiful autumn day lured us into the country lanes in the next village where we picked blackberries. Not many left so glad we went.

Blackberry season has been early this year. Now you need some apples, crumble and lashings of custard. For someone who doesn’t have a sweet tooth this is one of my favourites. Can you tell.

We also picked some windfall cooking apples. A blackberry and apple crumble and ice-cream is definitely planned.
