for get-pushed challenge from Kathy @randystreat to photograph something frozen.
Actually, the water in the middle is an unfrozen foutain. But the surrounding splashes are frozen. It's kind of fun that it's almost impossible to see the difference.
Speaking of ice, the reason I was home to take this picture was that the school delayed opening until noon because of ice. They then closed entirely. But! I had gone out with the dogs before work and had already broken my wrist on that ice before 6 AM. I didn't actually find this out until the roads were clear enough for my son to drive me to urgent care in late afternoon. /there;s a first time for everything, I guess. Hope it's my last broken bone as well...
I like the whimsey of this. We have a fountain on the other side of town that freezes up like this. I love to look at it and have shot it at least one time. I'm sorry that you broke your wrist. Glad there was someone there to get you some attention.
HI Francoise,
For your challenge I want you to do an action shot. I personally will give you bonus points if you can draw inspiration for Mr. Eadweard Muybridge.
your photo is a beautiful display of something frozen with lots of pretty patterns in the ice
