Ready for Planting by francoise

Ready for Planting

Joe has been busy. The last couple years I've gotten the garden ready for planting. But he decided to do it this year.... quite a different and much more efficient process than mine. For example, he got the whole thing ready in one day whereas I take weeks, doing one bed at a time.

For the dogwood challenge to create a dyptich.
Well, certainly wish the first picture hadn't accidentally been taken on manual focus, but since it was the before, can't go back now!!!
I like the idea of the dark paper around the beds. I just don't try for a garden in this area.

I agree! I always tell David I take about ten times as long to do something that requires manual work. Great job Joe's done.

I remember your photographic journey last year with preparing these beds. I love the diptych that shows the progress this year

You will have to do progress photos!

Taking weeks over a task like this is the correct way to do it and certainly more beneficial for mind and spirit!

Hi! thank you for your challenge! I will see what I can come up to. A bit late, but here is a challenge for you: how about a minimalist landscape? If for some reason that won't work, you can do a photo that uses a "wrong" white balance for a special effect (e.g. tungsten wb will "cool down" your photos, if you use it at night, it might look more like moonlight than artificial light).

The best way to look after the vegetables and have no weeds!
