Shelves hold piles of unfinished projects, half-finished notebooks, unstarted notebooks, an extra calendar. Boxes on the shelves contain scraps of paper, letters received, bits for a rotary dremel tool, bills paid, stories Liam wrote, the title to a car, a toy dog that rolls around emitting gales of electronic laughter. All these things accumulate and, somehow, disappear right in plain sight.
Boy, can I relate! Especially the disappearing in plain sight bit. We spend a huge percentage of our time looking for things, Aaargh! Must get rid of stuff. Where to start? I love the blur.
