Corndog Coverup by francoise

Corndog Coverup

Liam at six wants a birthday party with friends and corndogs. But when the children arrive, he retreats to his room and refuses to come out. I decorate the corndog box, creating an inadvertent memorial of the party fiasco. Liam is no longer six. Kleenex no longer sells this pattern. I no longer buy corndogs.
Cool. Love your narrative too.

Ah, memories. My boy really lost it when the piƱata he picked out for his third birthday got broken!

Made me smile - the way you wrote this! So corndogs come in a box? I don't even know what a corn dog is! Dear wee Liam - hope he's more social now!

I haven't commented but I have so enjoyed this series of reflections - you do these so well and your candour is refreshing and humbling.
