On a long-ago summer day a friend arrives to teach me the mysteries of oil painting. I rush around my garden collecting flowers. She applies her art school education and I apply paint under her direction. She is not satisfied with this result (or any other). I suspect the painting is just like my art education and our friendship, unfinished. But I see no need for improvements.
Art is candy for the eye. Just like candy for the palette we have different tastes. You must create to suit your taste and at the same time observe what others like so you don't become stale. If you paint just like your friend then your art won't truly reflect you. I give this five stars and a FAV!
Art is similar to photography, they are both subjective & need constant practice to improve or change. Your painting is lovely so keep doing it. Be self critical but be positive.
