When I saw this scene with my new polarized sunglasses, I was taken with the lighting on the trees behind that first row, a glow not quite reflected in this photo. But the cloud was pretty cool.
Well, Francoise, we meet again -- over a cool refreshing glass of (or hot steaming cup of, whichever you prefer) get pushed. This morning I found myself walking up the same campus sidewalk from car to office that I do every weekday. Looking around to see if there was anything at all new to photograph. Anyway, I don't know if you sometimes find yourself in a similar same-old, same-old mood. Your challenge is to find somewhere you have NEVER been -- some part of town or the next town over, or the woods surrounding you. Maybe some building -- store, church, office, you've never gone into... Photograph anything you like in that unfamiliar spot. If you've been absolutely everywhere and this challenge is not appropriate to your situation, please let me know ASAP and I'll come up with a different one.
@mcsiegle thank-you Mary. This sounds PERFECT. I've not yet completed my get-pushed challenge from last week (but will be doing so this evening). That's a first. When I post it I'll be over to give you a challenge.
i have a pair of sunglasses that makes the blue sky so incredibly blue, the sunshine a rich golden tone, and someone pointed out to me that it has the same effect as the circular polarizing filter attached to my camera. pretty cool. so maybe you need a cp filter for your lens to get the rich blue of that wonderful sky. i like it though as it is.
