No complaints or worries today (so far anyway). This morning Miss F. took me to a friend’s house before breakfast as it was the friend’s birthday. I thought it might be a tad early, but her friend was up and not at all upset to have unexpected visitors, quite the contrary. The friend was really happy to have birthday company! The two of them sat on the couch and talk, talk, talked. And laughed. Maybe even cried a little, but not the bad kind of crying. You would think they would run out of things to say, but they never do. I had told Miss F. that maybe she should work a little before gallivanting about, but when does she ever listen to me? well, it's not so bad, was it, mr. pig? at least you get to hear stories. grandmere doesn't talk much. she just raises her eyebrows and give us this intent stares that actually mean for us to keep quiet. thankfully you have no allergy to flowers, eh?
