A week of flower magic is to follow. I get to have my picture taken next to the flower in question. We’ll see what the world might have to offer in the way of colors. T. is home and clamoring for chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. As Miss F. already promised this, she made a big fuss at dinner last night about being asked again. When, she wonders, has she not made good on a promise. And when, she wonders, will T. figure out that people (Miss F. anyway) get miffed when your main communication s involve asking for things. Joe thought it was funny and I overheard him tell Miss F. as they were going to sleep that he was going to tell T. first thing in the morning to ask for chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. A dispute ensued over whether Miss F. actually liked such fussing. “I didn’t expect to be yelled at,” said T. at the table after being reminded that he not only had been told such cake was forthcoming but that he had already asked for it twice after having been told he could have it! How those two carry on. Liam just said, “I’m leaving,” and left the table for what I imagine he perceives as more adult activities such as Mario video games…
