Under that cross... by frappa77

Under that cross...

It was August 2000, I was there with more than 2.000.000 youths coming from all over the world... Your words have changed my life forever, under that cross... Thank you John Paul II!

So interesting to see the scene so empty.

Beautiful composition, and I love how the black and white processing emphasizes the variety of shapes in the scene. Great commentary, too!

Thank you for your comments, they are always very appreciated! After the meeting with the pope in 2000, I decided to became a nurse, even because I have known about a place in Cameroon where there was need of nurses to help in the hospital... So I left my studies in biology (4 years, 15 exams) and started studing nursing sciences! At the end of the course I spent 6 months in Cameroun, in that hospital inside the bush, as a volunteer... (one day I'll tell you more about my african experience!)
Now I see that cross every day on the way to go to work... that cross reminds me about my choise...
