Oo er missus!

How to explain…. A few years ago now I joined Commoners Choir at its inception. Boff Whalley of Chumbawamba fame (think, I get knocked down but I get up again…) gathered together a rag taggle bunch of Leeds’ old punks, lefties and greenies and started writing songs about things that matter. We wrote a not very flattering song about Boris Johnson (long before he became PM) and for who knows what reason we all dressed as monks and went to Kirkstall Abbey to make the accompanying video. It was hilarious, as Dave’s face here conveys (?). I’m sure we’re on a Government watch list. We’ve got two albums and a YouTube channel now. Carry on up the Commoners.
